about

“Mishima" is inspired by the story of the famous writer Yukio Mishima and offers an exploration of his vision of death which he interprets as a work of art and a symbol of freedom.
The song invites listeners to immerse themselves in the mind of the Japanese playwright, exploring his rebellious spirit and his unique conception of freedom through the aesthetic expression of the final act of his life.
The text is a hymn to life and was born in a context of internal revolution that aims to become something collective.
A crossover between electronics, voice and instruments such as the Santur and frame drums which create a union between typical sounds of the playwright's country (Japan) and those of the artist's country Kyoto (Puglia )

lyrics

la libertà spinge l’uomo a cascarci
e nei limiti dello spazio di cui si circonda
insiste un tempo già definito
le folle ad Oriente cadano consapevoli
mentre Le foglie sature di orgoglio
vanno incontro all’inverno

e nel respiro algido della fatica
c’è chi soffoca e chi sacrifica
chili e chili di esistenza

non è il mare e la sua spada
non è la guerra e il suo credo
non è dio ad essere inadatto

l’itinerario della fobia
si ferma sul colle della vita
e mente alla propria trasferta
ma a chi non vede
non basterebbe il sereno
perché è se stesso accecante

convinto del flagello
resto legato al bello
non mi resta che quello

non è il mare e la sua spada
non è la guerra e il suo credo
non è dio ad essere inadatto
