about

The musical references are multiple and range from darker sounds - such as those of Gazzelle Twin, NYX, Lucrecia Dalt, Iosonouncane - to the more industrial ones of The Soft Moon, or the vocal experimentation of Fever Ray, Arca and Sophie, also heading towards worlds such as that of Paolo Angeli and Enzo Avitabile, where tradition and experimentation blend perfectly.
This is the context for the new single by Kyoto "Inferno”, produced by Truemantic (who also accompanies her live) and released by Garden of J.

Her musical background starts from drumming studies and moves towards ever more experimental and deep horizons, that allow her total compositional freedom: Kyoto is capable to mix beatbox, electronica, spoken music, popular music and, above all, she deviates from everything we can imagine.

Like a continuous loop, Kyoto's "Inferno” is a stream of images, thoughts, phrases that leads the listener to dive into the head of the artist who struggles against a repetitive circuit, in which everything is the same, every day: a routine that repeats itself, a frenzy of fears, of worries, due also and mainly to the social system in which we live.
Minimalist in its hypnotic arpeggio, the song explodes into a tribute of tribal, pounding synths and percussions.
